"The Future"

Time has come to go our separate ways.
June now only has a few last days.
This year has indeed been an epic adventure.
I hope for the best for everyone's future endeavors.

I have overcome many obstacles this year.
I have blogged them consistently for all to hear.
This blog however will not be the same.
And the future will be the one to blame.

This summer, to India I will be embarking on a journey.
I was not to thrilled when I first heard.
I wanted to spend this summer with my friends so my anger stirred.
But my dad really wanted to go and my mom was his attorney.

After they continuously pleaded I simply agreed.
I figured it make the nagging stop or so it seemed.
However I will be going to India this summer.
At first I thought it would be a bummer.
Now I realized how much I have to look forward to.
And now it's almost time, how quickly the time flew.

"Prom Time Decision"

We came back to school nine months ago.
Now its time to close, where did the time go?
However the fun is only beginning.
It's now officially prom season!

There is a lot of planning that goes into prom.
People get anxious, heart beats like a drum.
But I know it will be fun.
Just one thing needs to get done.

I have to find a tux to impress.
It has to go good with Kaysee's dress.
I had a hard time finding the right tux.
It was hard to match Peach, and that did suck.

Black and Peach did not look to great,
Gray also did not put me in the happiest state.
But however I finally found a great color.
A tan tux looked perfectly stellar!

"Big Time Decision"

It is hard to believe it is already May,
The year flew by, now that's easy to say.
The last two months of senior year,
Said to be the best since we have the future to fear.

However I can choose to stay or volunteer.
Senior service can get me out of High School into the clear.
But that means it will all be over,
Now I wish the past four years went a little slower.

I could stay in school and enjoy it till the end,
Or help out in a nursing home with hours well spent.
I'm sure I will see my friends on the weekends.
Plus we have the whole summer till High School officially ends.

So I believe my troubles have been resolved.
I have chose to attend Senior Service.
Finally now I don't have to be nervous.
Working in the nursing home I can now envision.
Finally I have made my Big Time Decision.

"#PhysicalUpdate"

High school is quickly coming to a close.
I want to play a sport, so tennis I chose.
I figured it would be fun to try something new,
And maybe I would even be good too!

I attended the meeting and signed up to play.
Mr. Manzo gave a speech to get our papers in the very next day.
However it slipped my mind and I did not get my physical,
Handing it in a few days late shouldn't be so critical!

However a few days went by,
And I still never got my papers in and the days began to fly.
Before I knew it it was a week till first practice.
My papers aren't clear and I don't want to miss practice.

I called up my doctor to set up an appointment.
The silly doctor at first thought I needed some kind of ointment!
I schedule a meeting the very next day,
And the doctor checked my vitals to clear me to play.

I got my physical in with one day to spare,
Next time I'll make sure to hand my papers in with a lot more care!

"Broken Car, Broken Dreams"

It seemed to be just an ordinary day,
But unfortunately fate would not have it that way.

Driving my Honda Pilot, I headed towards school.
Joyfully you see, I had a full tank of fuel!
As the sun shined like a priceless jewel,
I pulled into Cechino ready for school.

Although the sun was up, it was still a tad dark.
So my lights were on allowing me to park.
As the clock was ticking, I thought I would be late.
So I ran out of my car without thinking too straight.

Got to band just in time,
Did not get marked late nor did the bell chime.
Before I knew it, lunch time had arrived.
In the mood for Denaros, I felt so food deprived!

As I came to car, a surprise was waiting.
My headlights grew dim, the light was waning.
I forgot to turn off my lights in the morning!
If my car does not turn on, I surely will be mourning.

Thus as the story unfolds, my car did not start,
But then Christian came to soothe my aching heart.
He brought along his jumper wires and away went the fright.
Connected the wires to both cars nice and tight.
Finally my Pilot was up and running, ready for flight!

"Pop goes the Tire"

25 years ago, my Uncle and Aunt confirmed their love,
In the presence of their peers, and God watching above.
A ring on one finger and love in their heart,
They promised it all, "till death do us part."

Two kids and 25 years later
Their love still burns like the flame of a lighter.
25 years of marriage is a true milestone.
To show our appreciation a celebration must be thrown.

All together we decided a plan,
A perfect surprise for my Uncle and Aunt.
The day had come and we set of toward my Uncle's home.
But before we knew it, something came up and our ride was postponed.

As we cruised down the parkway heading towards Bear Mountain,
The car suddenly jumped. This will be bad for certain.
Broken shards of glass that twinkled like a star,
Pop the back tire of our car!

How will we ever get there on time now?
My father got nervous and wiped the sweat of his brow.
There is no way we can be late!
We have to get to their house before eight!

As my father and I thought for a few minutes,
It suddenly hit us! The trunk! There must be a spare tire in it!
We quickly jacked up the car and began to loosen the nuts.
We were able to change the tire without to much fuss.

We got on the road but not a moment too soon.
In the nick of time, we pulled into my Uncles driveway.
Decorated their house with streamers and balloons.
When my Uncle and Aunt saw the surprise, they were truly blown away.
